‘The Simpsons’ Donald Trump parody plays out like Treehouse of Horror episode

The creative minds behind Fox’s The Simpsons have just put out a short parody clip detailing Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office and, with pill popping, strangling, abduction, suicide and more, the contents seem closer to that of one of the longstanding animated series’ infamous “Treehouse of Horror” episodes. Have a look at the clip above and see all the terror for yourself.

Within the first four seconds alone, we see Kellyanne Conway discover White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer hanging from a noose. She takes off running as we tread upstairs past a couple of likely photos of Trump and wife Melania, past Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner choking one another out, and into The President’s bedroom, where Trump proceeds to praise the accomplishments of his first 100 days in office. “So many accomplishments,” says POTUS. “Lowered my golf handicap. My Twitter following increased by 700. And finally, we can shoot hibernating bears. My boys will love that.”

Trump proceeds to opt for television (rather than reading the new proposed tax bill), where daughter Ivanka is seen replacing Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg while simultaneously promoting her clothing and jewelry. Also watching the broadcast are Homer — guzzling Duff beer (nothing new there) — and Marge — popping some prozac — as Grampa Abe is hauled off by federal agents.

The clip, titled “Donald Trump’s First 100 Days In Office,” has already racked up over 1.2 million views on YouTube, a number that will likely climb to record heights in the coming days.
