Chicago: Bridget Everett is coming for you this November

Bridget Everett

It can be a tough decision to narrow down what to do on a Saturday night in Chicago. Should you take in a concert by a sexy singer or head to the comedy club to get a few laughs? On Nov. 12, the choice is simple as The Vic Theatre is hosting the one-and-only Bridget Everett – who does it all and then some – showcasing her powerful voice, raunchy humor and captivating cabaret show.

She has been called “one of the greatest live performers I have ever seen in my life” by Jerry Seinfeld and counts the hilarious Amy Schumer as one of her best friends and biggest fans, but all you have to do is attend one of Everett‘s unique and impossibly fun shows to know that she is simply the best. She is known to get up close and personal with fans while telling hilarious tales of sexual exploits and singing songs about her greatest assets. Perpetually clad in a flattering fanny pack and a form-fitting dress – minus the bra, of course – Everett stands out from your run of the mill entertainers with every aspect of her performance.

Everett has previously appeared in such hilarious TV series as Girls and Inside Amy Schumer and she was an absolute scene stealer in Maria Bamford’s Netflix show, Lady Dynamite. Her debut hourlong comedy special, Bridget Everett: Gynecological Wonder, premiered on Comedy Central in 2015 to rave reviews.

The Nov. 12 performance at The Vic Theatre in Chicago, which is presented by Jam Productions, finds the comedian smack dab in the middle of her Pound It Fall Tour. She has plans to perform in Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle and more great cities before wrapping things up at the Jaeb Theatre at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, FL on Dec. 9.

No matter what you got, get ready to “put ’em up” as no one gets down like the queen of cabaret when she comes to Chicago. Click here to pick-up tickets to see Everett perform at The Vic on Nov. 12 and check out her remaining 2016 tour dates below.
