Maz Jobrani is about to kick off Netflix’ August comedy slate with his new special Immigrant. Get a sneak peak at the comedian’s latest hour-long with this new trailer (seen above), which dropped this Friday on YouTube.
Jobrani announced his new special’s Netflix debut back in June. The forthcoming hour-long was taped at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. on April 15 and, as can be seen in the above trailer, it will see the Iranian-American comic talking protests, children and, yep… you guessed it, immigration.
Immigrant marks Jobrani’s fifth stand-up comedy special and his first for streaming giant Netflix. The special, written and directed by Jobrani, premieres on the VOD service August 1. Queue it up now.
