In exactly one month, Riot Fest ticket-holders will converge onto Chicago’s Douglas Park for the premiere punk rock music festival event of the summer. The music is now scheduled to extend beyond the festival gates as bands like Gogol Bordello and the Buzzcocks are slated for late-night sets at venues throughout the city.

The Buzzcocks will infiltrate the Cobra Lounge on Saturday night while gypsy punks Gogol Bordello — on the high of their latest album Seekers and Finders (out Aug. 25), promise to keep the Riot Fest party rocking with a post-festival set at Concord Music Hall. Among the other official late-night Riot Fest sets scheduled are Taking Back Sunday, Dinosaur Jr. & Built To Spill, New Found Glory, GBH, Cap’n Jazz and Hot Water Music. Those finding it difficult to wait for the festival gates to open can check out Thursday night sets by The Orwells, Tobacco, The Queers & The Ataris.

With headlining performances by Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and Jawbreaker, and almost a dozen full-album sets including Wu-Tang & Danzig, Riot Fest Chicago 2017 promises to be monumental. The Riot Fest daily set times were unveiled last week (have a look here), so pick up your tickets and start planning your schedule now to beat the dreaded festival conflicts.

Riot Fest goes down Sept. 15-17. Visit the festival’s official website for more information and to pick up tickets.

Tickets for all late-night shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. CDT. Click here for the complete list of shows.
