Rancid & Dropkick Murphys announce From Boston to Berkeley Tour

Rancid Dropkick Murphys

This summer Rancid and Dropkick Murphys are teaming-up for a monthlong tour which is sure to bring rowdy circle pits to cities across North America. The From Boston to Berkeley Tour will kick-off on July 27 in Bangor, ME and make stops in Chicago, Las Vegas, Denver and more before concluding with a performance in Los Angeles on Aug. 26.

The Bouncing Souls and Jake Burns have been tapped as the supporting acts from July 27-Aug. 9 and The Selecter and Kevin Seconds will open up from Aug. 11-26. Tickets for most shows go on sale this Friday, March 10 at 10 a.m. local time.

“Rancid is looking forward to hitting the road with our brothers the Dropkick Murphys,” said Rancid’s Tim Armstrong in a statement. “We will end the night with DKM and us playing songs together. Look out for The Bouncing Souls, The Selecter, Kevin Seconds and Jake Burns to be on certain shows. SEE YA IN THE PIT!”

Dropkick Murphys’ Ken Casey added, “This is a dream come true for Dropkick Murphys. Hopefully all the people coming to the shows will feel the same way. Rancid gave us our break – Tim signing us to his label, Lars producing our early albums…so much history and great memories. Now, literally sharing the stage together every night. This tour is going to destroy all others this summer!!!!”
