Green Bay comedian and union organizer Kristin Lytie is set to release her hilarious debut album, Disassociation Vacation, on April 26 via Burn This Records. The album will be available digitally and pressed on vinyl and Lytie is hosting a special release party – presented by Milwaukee Comedy – on May 18 at the Laughing Tap in Milwaukee.
Growing up in Wisconsin, loving horror movies, and quitting drinking are among the topics Lytie mines for laughs throughout the release. She also finds the funny in how she took the comedy and union organizing knowledge she learned while living in performing in Chicago back home to Wisconsin.
“This album is over a decade in the making, it’s stories from traveling, working for unions, things I love, things that frustrate me. It is unapologetically me and I’m so proud of it,” said Lytie in a statement.
