HBO has just announced a premiere date for T.J. Miller’s new stand-up special. The special, titled T.J. Miller: Meticulously Ridiculous, will debut Saturday, June 17 at 10 p.m (ET/PT).

Miller’s forthcoming special was taped at the Paramount Theater in his hometown of Denver, CO — the final stop of last year’s “Meticulously Ridiculous Tour” — and marks the comedian and actor’s first HBO special. Meticulously Ridiculous is produced for HBO by Funny Or Die and executive produced by Miller along with Dave Becky, Mike Berkowitz, Anna Wenger and Betsy Koch. The special was written by T.J. Miller and directed by Jeff Tomsic.

Miller most recently appeared as himself in Season 1 of Pete Holmes’ HBO series Crashing. He will soon resume his role as stoner-entrepreneur Erlich Bachman in the Season 4 premiere of the network’s hit comedy series Silicon Valley, airing April 23.

Miller can currently be heard voicing the title character on The Gorburger Show, which airs Sundays at midnight on Comedy Central. The Japanese variety-style talk show, featuring a giant blue alien invader (Miller) as its host, was originally developed as a Funny Or Die web series half a decade ago and due to popularity was picked up by CC in January of this year.
