Lollapalooza will take over Grant Park in Chicago on July 31 through Aug. 3, but before thousands of fans head downtown, two artists brought the perfect dance party to The Salt Shed to kick-off all the fun.
On Wednesday, July 30, Barry Can’t Swim and Fcukers helped fans warm-up for the weekend with a night full of good times. Barry Can’t Swim opened his set the same way he does his latest album, Loner, with the ominous spoken word masterpiece “The Person You’d Like to Be.” He proceeded to delight the crowd by treating them to several tracks from the 2025 album as well as songs from his debut, When Will We Land?.

On Thursday, July 31, Fcukers will be taking The Grove stage at Lollapalooza at 4p.m. And Barry Can’t Swim will be performing ahead of Gracie Abrams and Tyler the Creator on the T-Mobile Stage at 5 p.m. If their sets at The Salt Shed are any indication, fans are in for an amazing time at Lollapalooza.
