Guitarist John 5 is gearing up for the release of his highly-anticipated solo album, Ghost on Oct. 10.
He recently dropped the new single, “Deviant,” which features drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Bryan Beller. The Michael Sarna-directed video can be seen below.
“Ghost is perhaps my proudest achievement to date. To me, the meaning of life is doing what you love. And this is what I love. I am surrounded by ghosts in my life and I needed to honor them with this album. It is what I was meant to do. I’m so happy to have had some incredibly talented friends join me on this album. On ‘Deviant,’ Stephen Perkins’ drums helped bring the track to life. And having the great Bryan Beller on bass… you can’t get much better than that,” said John 5 about the new album and single, in a statement.
The guitar wizard is also heading out on a co-headlining tour, alongside fellow guitar great Richie Kotzen, beginning on Oct. 16 in El Cajon, CA. There is a Chicago-area show scheduled to take place at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, IL on Nov. 22 and the tour will conclude on Nov. 29 in Pioneertown, CA.
