Two of the most influential hip-hop albums of all time – Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… and Mobb Deep’s The Infamous – are being celebrated with a highly-anticipated tour.
Raekwon and Mobb Deep will kick-off their co-headlining tour, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the two releases, on Nov. 13 in Portland, OR before making stops in San Diego, Denver, Detroit, and other great cities. There is a Chicago performance scheduled to take place at the Riviera Theatre on Nov. 28 and the tour will conclude in Miami Beach on Dec. 15.
In a statement, Raekwon shared, “Me and Havoc from Mobb will be pure hip-hop at its finest. This is gonna take rap shows to the next level—guaranteed!”
Havoc of Mobb Deep added, “The fans can expect nothing less than pure, raw, unfiltered energy on stage. I’m excited to celebrate these two legendary albums—the world doesn’t exist to me without that purple tape in it. This will be a tour the fans will never forget.”
Tickets for the tour, produced by Live Nation and presented by LOUD Live, go on sale to the general public on Friday Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. local time. There are also artist presales beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 10 am. local time.
