Earlier this month, Dropkick Murphys embarked on the For The People…In the Pit St. Patrick’s Day Tour with The Aggrolites and Haywire serving as support on most dates.
The tour kicked-off in Portland, ME on Feb. 9 and is making stops in Austin, Charlotte, Denver, and other great cities. There is a Chicago performance scheduled to take place at the Salt Shed on March 3 and the band is hosting a series of special shows in Boston to close out the tour including a family-friendly afternoon mini-concert and meet & greet at MGM Music Hall at Fenway on March 14 which benefits the band’s charitable foundation, The Claddagh Fund.
Along with sharing the spectacular live performances for which they are known, Dropkick Murphys have also been taking time out on this tour to make surprise appearances at many picket lines across the U.S. to support unions fighting for fair wages and better contracts.
