Pitbull is back once again for a sold out show at Credit Union One Ampitheatre but this time he brought the one and only Lil Jon with him as an opener. Now I can admit, going into this show, I assumed I knew maybe 2 Lil Jon songs and that’s it. Turns out, Lil Jon has a lot more songs than I even realized but he also treated his stage time like one giant party, just getting the crowd ready and hype for Pitbull! Honestly, on this tour and for the first time ever, I started seeing people dressed up as Lil Jon instead of Pitbull. It was actually incredible and so fun!

Lil Jon did open his set with a touching moment, it was a video of his son talking about how amazing his dad is and how his dad got him into music. Some fans know this and other fans like myself did not know this but sadly Lil Jon lost his son earlier this year so seeing this video as he comes on stage is honestly really touching. Set wise, Lil Jon broke his set into parts I would say and you could tell by the screen and what nostalgic vibes it showed, from a box tv to an old school iPod, but it made the set more fun plus of course all the Nostalgic hits like “Low”, “Turn Down For What”, and even “Crank That” by Soulja boy. It was truly a non stop party before the main event even came on! Let’s just say this, if you are seeing Pitbull already, get there early for Mr. Lil Jon because you will have fun!
Now let’s talk about Mr. 305, Mr. Worldwide, Mr. Right Now, – Pitbull! Pitbull’s set as always was absolutely incredible! As a fan, this man always impresses me from the stage set up, to his crew, to his dancers, to just his energy in general but also his fans that come out and dress like him! Some fans may not do the full bald cap thing but even just seeing them come out in a white button down or a globe costume just adds to the fun! It’s unexplainable but it just makes you smile being able to sit in your seat and wherever you look, someone is dressed up and having the time of their life!

Now Pitbull’s performance it’s self as amazing! Pitbull played I would say about 23 songs with a mix of covers, new songs, and of course the classics! Lil Jon even came out to sing their new song together “Damn I love Miami”! Pitbull and The Most Bad Ones (Pitbull’s dance troupe) also had little outfit changes which I absolutely loved seeing because I feel like it just adds to the show! At the end of the night, Pitbull as always is one of my favorite shows of the entire summer, if you get the chance or are even on the fence about seeing Mr. Worldwide this summer, do yourself the favor and do it! He is one of those shows that you will not regret seeing live!
