Kylie Cantrall is currently on her first solo tour celebrating her first album Valley Girl Problems which is an album just full of feelings like friendships ending, boy problems, but also just girlhood in your early 20s! So when I saw Kylie was touring this album and her second stop on this tour was Chicago, I knew I had to be there and this show was so much fun! Now if you’re a Disney person like me, then Kylie may sound/look familiar because she actually plays Red in the Disney hit Series Descendants and before you ask, yes so many young girls either dressed as red, wore red, or even had red hair or red tips which was just everything! Other fans made custom shirts that said Valley Girl Problems which just shows the impact this album has had on so many young fans which is incredible!
Now for this being Kylie’s first big tour, I was wondering how it was going to go and honestly, she put on such a theatrical show and it was amazing! I loved seeing the props, the screen behind her telling her story on where she is from or a little something something about a song that she is about to perform. Also yes, she does sing one Descendants song but I refuse to say which one so you have to go see her live! Overall, I loved Kylie Cantrall’s set. She is 100 percent a performer and I can not wait to see what she does next after this tour. Truly, if you are a fan of her from the Descendants series or of her music in general then go see her now in these smaller venues before she blows up because I have a feeling she is going to very soon!

Elias was opening for Kylie Cantrall on the Valley Girl Tour and honestly I just loved how much they interacted with the fans. Literally into the second song, fans started handing a sharpie and an item to see if Elias would sign and they immediately did without hesitation and it was just so heart warming but I also feel like bands/artists forget they can do this! By song 3, Elias was being handed phones and started going up and down that stage like it was a catwalk singing into the phone and showing the crowd! Being at this show, you see there is a much younger audience which means this is probably a lot of first timers in the crowd who have never even been to a show, so seeing Elias definitely made so many younger fans literal day if not year!
Elias performed about a 30 min set but I loved the fact that they produced all of their own music which is so unique and not an easy thing to do! I can’t wait to see where Elias goes after this tour but I feel like they are definitely someone to keep on your radar for new artists!
