Eugene Mirman announces 2017 Comedy Festival dates

Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival 2017

Eugene Mirman has just announced dates for the 2017 rendition of his long-running comedy festival. The Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival is scheduled to take place at various venues in Brooklyn, NY on Sept. 15-18.

2017 will mark the 10th anniversary of the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival. While the lineup has yet to be announced, a single show has, thus far, surfaced. StarTalk Live! with Neil DeGrasse Tyson, joined by Mirman as co-host, is slated for Sept. 18 at Kings Theatre. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, but there is a pre-sale expected on Wednesday, June 28 at 11 a.m. EDT.

Mirman was part of the renowned alt comic tour, the Comedians of Comedy (appearing alongside Maria Bamford, Brian Posehn and Patton Oswalt) from the early 2000s. He co-starred in the Adult Swim mockumentary series Delocated, was a regular on Flight of the Conchords and voices the character Gene Belcher on Bob’s Burgers.

Earlier this week it was announced that Mirman’s Audible comedy series Hold On, which sees the comedian hosting guests like Jim Gaffigan, Kristen Schaal, Reggie Watts, David Cross and others for stories and discussion, was morphing into a podcast. The first three episodes are available now and likewise you can find them on iTunes.
