Watch the trailer for Marc Maron’s new Netflix special ‘Too Real’

VOD giant Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Marc Maron’s new comedy special Too Real. The comedian and actor’s new hour-long premieres on the streaming service Sept. 5.

Though clocking in at a mere 75 seconds, Maron manages to cover a host of wide-ranging material in the above trailer for Too Real. “I don’t know how to have fun. How do you have fun,” asks the comedian in the clip’s opening moments. “How do you guys do it? Like, I don’t think I would have come to this show.”

Maron touches on a range of other topics in the brief trailer, all the while incorporating that classic self-deprecation that fans have come to love. He talks relationships, love and, of course, cats while also breaking down the difference between the “alpha male” and the “alpha p*ssy.”

Marc Maron: Too Real, which was filmed at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis back in April, will also see the comedian riffing on meditation, morality, his parents and the strangeness of our modern world. The WTF host and GLOW co-star’s latest hour-long will arrive on Netflix just two weeks ahead of comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld’s highly-anticipated special, Jerry Before Seinfeld.
