Jena Friedman has never been one to shy away from tough conversations. Friedman is once again diving head first into difficult discussions with her new Adult Swim special, Soft Focus with Jena Friedman, which premieres on Feb. 18 at midnight.
Throughout Soft Focus, Friedman tackles such issues as campus rape and the curious case of the cannibal cop with investigative techniques and innovative solutions. The comedic human-interest program – playing like a satirical PBS report – simultaneously induces cringes and uncontrollable laughter.

In advance of Soft Focus, Friedman stopped by Conan on Feb. 8 to perform a deliciously dark stand-up set that took aim at Nazis, patriarchies and sexual harassment. “If we in America treat Nazis the way we treat women, at the very least, they will never become president. Thank you guys so much,” she said at the conclusion of the hilarious set.
