Adam Faucett to hit the road in support of ‘It Took the Shape of a Bird’

Beautifully dark compositions provide foundations for personal and poetic lyrics – sowed in truth – on Adam Faucett’s latest release, It Took the Shape of a Bird. Hailing from Arkansas, Faucett blankets the album in blues rock roots and folk storytelling while his vocals detail his deepest feelings.

A spiritual ache is felt on the album’s opening track “King Snake” as Faucett mirrors his melodies with an eloquent guitar accompaniment. The song’s haunting lyrics reveal the many struggles of humanity with heartbreaking emotion and vivid imagery.

Faucett has announced that he will be touring in support of It Took the Shape of a Bird, kicking things off at the Blockhouse in Bloomington, IN on Nov. 3. Milwaukee and Chicago, where he will grace the stage at The Hideout on Nov. 10, are among the cities included on the run which will wrap-up on Nov. 18 in New York City.

More Like A Temple and Blind Water Finds Blind Water are among Faucett’s previous critically-acclaimed releases as are Show Me Magic, Show Me Out and his 2007 debut The Great Basking Shark.
