“This is our fourth show in the last 24 hours,” revealed Potty Mouth lead singer Abby Weems after sharing “22,” the group’s buoyant lament to aging, at their June 26 concert at Sleeping Village in Chicago.

Having played so many shows in the span of one day, Potty Mouth – comprised of Weems (guitar), Ally Einbinder (bass), Victoria Mandanas (drums) and joined by an additional guitarist – were both a well-oiled machine and fueled with punk rock abandon as they shared a setlist dominated by their latest release, SNAFU. “Bottom Feeder,” “Do It Again,” and “Liar” – the latter of which proved to be the night’s heaviest hitter complete with an epic power chord finale – all highlighted the pop melodies and raw rock edges of the 2019 album.

Dressy Bessy and Colleen Green performed later in the night as the trio of artists have joined forces for a tour.

“We’re so excited to finally bring the songs from our new record SNAFU on the road and play them live for people,” Weems shared in a statement at the time of the tour announcement. “This tour is going to be especially fun because we already love Dressy Bessy and Colleen Green. Plus, Colleen is going to be riding with us in our van! Look out for the party bus coming through your town this summer!!”
