The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park continued to share the sunny sounds of the season with 311 and Dirty Heads’ co-headlining Summer Tour. Good vibes, cool tunes and a pair of great causes – $1 from every tour ticket sold benefits VH1 Save the Music Foundation and NRDC – highlighted the July 6 performance at the Chicago-area venue.

With their 13th studio album Voyager set to be released on July 12, 311 highlighted new music along with hits including “Down,” “Beautiful Disaster,” “Amber” and more as Nick Hexum and company proved why they have been a popular live band since the early-nineties.

Dirty Heads also had new tracks to showcase in the form of material from Super Moon – dropping Aug. 9 via Five Seven Records – effortlessly connecting with fans while taking the crowd on a sonic “Vacation.”

The Interrupters, Dreamers and Bikini Trill added to the fun as the concert’s opening acts.
