Michael Kosta, best known for his work as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, has just landed a new stand-up special with Comedy Central. The network aims to air the yet-to-be-titled hour-long in the summer of 2020.

Kosta’s debut comedy special will be recorded before a live audience in his home state of Michigan at Detroit’s Gem Theatre on Friday, Nov. 15. Tickets to the comedian’s live-tapings (two shows – 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.) will be free of charge for attendees.

Prior to The Daily Show, the veteran stand-up guest-hosted Attack of the Show, co-created, produced and starred in The Comment Section and co-hosted Crowd Goes Wild with Regis Philbin. He has also made notable appearances on @midnight, Conan, The Tonight Show and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Kosta was among the 2011 cast of Comedy Central Presents and released his debut album Comedy for Attractive People in 2015. More recently, he could be seen on Comedy Central’s This Week at the Comedy Cellar and This Is Not Happening.
