Pet Shop Boys have announced that their new album Hotspot will be released via x2 Records/Kobalt on Jan. 24.

A deluxe edition cassette and 2-disc CD, which features an instrumental version of the record, will also be released at that time.

“We’ve written much of our music over the last ten years in Berlin and it was an exciting experience to work on this album in the legendary Hansa studios there and add a new dimension to our sound,” said Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe in a statement.

Hotspot was produced and mixed by Stuart Price who previously worked with the group on Super and Electric.

Pet Shop Boys will also be hitting the road in 2020 for a European tour that begins in Berlin on May 1. Brussels, London and Glasgow are also featured on the tour itinerary which currently concludes on June 19 in Oslo.
