Riot Fest 2021

Riot Fest shared a bit of bad news and some really good news. Sadly, the 2020 festival – set to take place in Chicago’s Douglas Park on Sept. 11-13 – has been postponed until next year. On the flip side, 2021 is going to be an event for the record books as My Chemical Romance, Smashing Pumpkins, Run the Jewels, Pixies and more have been announced in the first wave lineup.

Weekend passes for the three day musical extravaganza, scheduled for Sept. 17-19, 2021 in Douglas Park, are on sale now starting at $149.98. Festival organizers also announced the addition of a special Thursday preview night on Sept. 16 featuring performances from mystery bands. Fans who already purchased 2020 tickets will gain admission to the Thursday Preview Party as will anyone who buys a ticket in the next 30 days.

Refunds and transfers for 2020 ticket holders will also be available for 30 days.

Lupe Fiasco, Coheed and Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, Toots and the Maytals, Best Coast, L7, Gogol Bordello and many more acts are also included in Riot Fest 2021’s first wave lineup announcement. More artists, headliners, album plays and other surprises will be revealed in the coming months.
