When The Go-Go’s critically acclaimed 2001 reunion album God Bless The Go-Go’s was originally released it didn’t get a vinyl pressing. Decades later in celebration of its 20th anniversary, the album will be made available on LP for the very first time on May 14, 2021.
Featuring Charlotte Caffey (lead guitar, keyboards, vocals), Belinda Carlisle (lead vocals), Gina Schock (drums, percussion, vocals), Kathy Valentine (bass guitar, vocals) and Jane Wiedlin (guitar, vocals), the new edition will be pressed on 140gram, blue vinyl. A deluxe CD and digital version are also available with new cover art and including the bonus tracks “I Think I Need Sleep” and “King of Confusion.”
The Go-Go’s also have a series of North American Tour dates scheduled for this summer with scheduled stops at San Francisco’s Masonic Auditorium, Humphreys in San Diego and more.
