Garbage to release new album ‘No Gods No Masters’ on June 11

Garbage

The seventh studio album from Garbage is nearly here as the group has announced that No Gods No Masters will be released on June 11 via Stunvolume/Infectious Music.

The record’s lead single “The Men Who Rule the World” and its video are out now.

“This is our seventh record, the significant numerology of which affected the DNA of its content: the seven virtues, the seven sorrows, and the seven deadly sins,” said the band’s frontwoman Shirley Manson of the album in a statement. “It was our way of trying to make sense of how f*cking nuts the world is and the astounding chaos we find ourselves in. It’s the record we felt that we had to make at this time.”

Garbage – Shirley Manson, Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig – worked with long-time collaborator Billy Bush to co-produce the record.
