Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens is set to launch its second season with a two-episode premiere on Aug. 18 on Comedy Central.
The series stars creator/writer Awkwafina who was inspired by her real-life growing up in Queens, NY to make the hilarious show. BD Wong, Lori Tan Chinn and Bowen Yang are back as Awkwafina’s family. Wong will also be making his television directorial debut this season. Bill Benz, Andrew McCarthy, Laura Murphy and more are also slated to direct installments for the 10-episode season.
