Rockwell Blues & Jazz Street Stroll announces inaugural event on Sept. 4

Presented by Delmark Records, Earwig Records and the Rockwell Business & Residents Association, the Rockwell Blues & Jazz Street Stroll is set to take place on Sept. 4, 2021. The event is made possible by a grant from the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events with funding from the Walder Foundation.

Performers include Liz Mandeville, Dave Weld & the Imperial Flames and the Delmark All Stars Band featuring Bob Stroger, Willie Hayes, Billy Flynn, Roosevelt Purifoy and a slew of special guests.

The inaugural Rockwell Blues & Jazz festival will occur live and virtually from noon to 6 p.m. on Sept. 4. Dozens of musicians will perform across two stages located on the Delmark patio – 4121 N Rockwell St., Chicago, IL – and inside the Burning Bush Brewery located at 4014 N Rockwell St., Chicago, IL.

The Happy to Have the Blues art and photo exhibit by Robert Jr. Whitall, vendor tables – CHIRP Radio, Delmark Records, Earwig Records and more – and lots of performances are among the event’s attractions.
