Dave Specter is celebrating three decades worth of prolific releases for Delmark Records with the two-CD retrospective, Six String Soul, 30 Years on Delmark Records, set to be released on Oct. 22. The album showcases his musical journey and features an incredible line-up of guests including Otis Clay, Jorma Kaukonen, Lurrie Bell, Billy Branch, Jack McDuff, Ronnie Earl and many more.
In honor of the album, Specter is hosting a release party at Evanston’s SPACE on Nov. 2 where he will play songs from his entire career. A few surprise guests will add to the fun.
Specter has appeared on over 50 albums and DVDs as a guitarist, bandleader and/or producer with 12 albums as a leader or co-leader on Delmark Records. He is also partner at the acclaimed venue SPACE and hosts the podcast, Blues From The Inside Out.
