Dawes to play The Vic Theatre in Chicago on December 4

Dawes

Christmas is coming early as LA-rockers Dawes – Taylor Goldsmith (guitars, vocals), Griffin Goldsmith (drums), Wylie Gelber (bass), Lee Pardini (keys) – will be giving the gift of live music to Chicago fans when they play The Vic Theatre on Dec. 4.

The show is part of the group’s fall tour in support of their latest album, Good Luck Whatever, which was released in October 2020 via Rounder Records. Grammy Award-winner Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit) produced the album, the band’s seventh studio LP, at Nashville’s RCA Studio A.

Leg two of Dawes’ fall tour began back in November and the group will be making stops in Milwaukee, Louisville, St. Louis and more great cities before wrapping things up on Dec. 12 in Houston. Singer-songwriter Erin Rae is opening all shows including the Chicago stop.
