Are you looking to give yourself the gift of laughter this holiday season? New York comedian Kenice Mobley has released her debut comedy album, Follow Up Question, just in time.

Available everywhere now vie Blonde Medicine, Follow Up Question finds Mobley riffing on everything from her crush on her therapist to her relationship with her mom to a one night stand. Her often blue comedy is paired with endearing interactions with the crowd during which the comedian frequently asks follow up questions to further draw humor from each candid moment.

While this is Mobley’s first album, she has been performing her unique brand of stand-up – which she describes as “absurd, biting, warm, intelligently stupid” – for nearly a decade.

“I started (doing stand-up) after going to a show with a guy I was dating at the time. Or at least, he said it was a show. It was actually an open mic. I didn’t enjoy his comedy at all, and we had to break up shortly after, but I realized, if he can do this, I can do this too. Then I started listening to stand up albums compulsively and started writing,” she said in a statement.
