Lin Brehmer was one of the best in the business and 93XRT and Metro are joining forces to honor the late Chicago radio host’s life and legacy with A Celebration of Lin Brehmer. This special show will take place at Metro on Aug. 19, on what would have been Brehmer’s birthday, and include performances by Bob Mould, Los Lobos, The LinBurgers – featuring Jon Langford & Kelly Hogan – and Michael McDermott.
Terri Hemmert, Marty Lennartz, Annalisa, Ryan Arnold, Johnny Mars and Frank E. Lee are among Brehmer’s friends and colleagues who will serve as hosts for the evening.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 14 at noon local time. Proceeds to the event will benefit Intonation and Nourishing Hope, two of Brehmer’s favorite charities. This event is 18 & over.
