This Friday, Brooklyn rockers Nevāda Nevada will release their debut LP, Past Life via Rocks In Your Head Records (founded by Sonny Smith of Sonny and the Sunsets).
The cathartic 10-track album is full of melodic songs powered by politically charged lyrics colored with love and rage. Kathryn Musilek (Burn Disco Burn, Deathships) penned the songs which were shaped and arranged by the band: Andrew Gerhan (Our Lady of the Highway, Adam Arcuragi, The Animals), David Olson (The Poison Control Center, The Wheelers) and Alicia Berbenick.
Isaiah Gage (cello) and Anya Combs (saxophone) also provide additional instrumentation.
Lead singles “The Difference,” “CHARGE” and “The One About the Sky” have already generated buzz and excitement ahead of the album’s release. Past Life follows the success of the band’s EP Wild and Glowing.
