Singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles is back with a new album entitled Good Grief, which is set to be released on Aug. 18.
The album, Bareilles’s seventh and her first since 2019’s Amidst the Chaos, will explore themes of loss and hope.
“This whole collection of songs felt like transmissions rather than a deliberate attempt to make sense of the world,” said Bareilles in a statement. “My deepest hope is that Good Grief provides some kind of comfort or catharsis.”
In support of the release, Bareilles is embarking on the Good Grief Tour which will kick-off in Boston on Sept. 9 before stopping in Toronto, Atlanta, and other great cities. There is a Chicago performance scheduled to take place at the Chicago Theatre on Sept. 27 and the tour will conclude on Oct. 19 in Seattle.
Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on June 10 at 10 a.m. local time and there are a variety of pre-sales happening in advance.
