Colossal Clusterfest adds Hasan Minhaj, T.J. Miller & ‘Wayne’s World’ live read

Wayne's World

Colossal Clusterfest, taking place June 2-4 in San Francisco, just keeps getting more colossal! The festival, which already boasts a lineup of comedic talent like no other — Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Bill Burr, Sarah Silverman, Hannibal Buress and more — has added another handful of noteworthy names to the bill. The latest lineup additions include The Daily Show with Trevor Noah correspondent Hasan Minhaj, Silicon Valley’s T.J. Miller and a celebration of the hit 90s comedy Wayne’s World, courtesy of Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer.

Jacobson and Glazer will honor the beloved Mike Myers, Dana Carvey classic, now celebrating its 25th anniversary, with a live reading of the film. Alternatively, Miller, who HBO just announced will debut his first special Meticulously Ridiculous for the network this summer, will be performing a live rendition of his bizarre new late night alien talk show, The Gorburger Show, which traditionally airs Sunday nights on Comedy Central. Also joining, are fellow Gorburger writer Nick Vatterott and multi-talented actor-writer-comedian-singer Eliot Glazer (New Girl, Broad City).

Colossal Clusterfest is a collaboration between Comedy Central, Superfly (the brains behind Bonnaroo) and Another Planet Entertainment (co-producers of Outside Lands). In addition to the artists mentioned above, the three-day festival will see comedic performances by Bob Odenkirk, Maya Rudolph, Chris Hardwick, Anthony Jeselnik, Tig Notaro, Moshe Kasher, Natasha Leggero, Pete Davidson, Anna Faris, Kyle Kinane, Big Jay Oakerson, Roy Wood Jr., Nate Bargatze, Joe Derosa, Beth Stelling, Rory Scovel, Jo Firestone and Aparna Nancherla. Ron Funches, Chris Gethard, Rachel Bloom, Fred Armisen are among those slated to perform specially curated programming in collaboration with SF Sketchfest.

Helping bring balance to the insane comedy offering at Colossal Clusterfest are a handful of choice musical performances from Ice Cube, Tegan and Sara, Chromeo, Les Claypool (in the form of a Superjam) and more. There will also be select Q&A’s, podcasts and novelty attractions from South Park, Seinfeld and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
