Fans of Bridget Everett can start getting excited as the queen of cabaret comedy’s new pilot Love You More hits Amazon on Nov. 10.

Love You More follows Karen Best (Everett) who has a big personality and a big love of Chardonnay, which occasionally, causes her to make some big mistakes with men. Best thrives as a counselor at an independent living residence for young folks with Down syndrome, a profession that triggers a musical alter-ego of sorts, highly proficient in song and dance.

Everett talked about the pilot in a recent chat with Build Series:

“I get to sing in it. And I get to be like the funny parts of me and the sad parts of me and the sensual side. It’s about a character named Karen Best and she’s like this, sort of, a big girl with a big heart and she’s trying to find a way to feel like she’s worthy of love.”

Sex and the City’s Michael Patrick King is also onboard, acting as showrunner, as is Bobcat Goldthwait, who sits in the director’s chair. Everett wrote the pilot with Goldthwait, King and Game of Thrones producer Carolyn Strauss.

The Love You More pilot will debut exclusively on Amazon Prime on Nov. 10.
