Jack White, QOTSA, David Byrne & more tapped for Beale Street Music Festival 2018

It’s almost time for Memphis’ legendary Beale Street Music Festival. Slated for May 4-6, this year’s event recently announced its 2018 lineup, which includes performances by Jack White, Erykah Badu, Queens of the Stone Age and David Byrne.

Among the many other performers scheduled to appear at this year’s eclectic festival are Odesza, Post Malone, Logic, Alanis Morissette, Incubus, Kaleo, Ludacris, Tyler the Creator, Cake, D.R.A.M, The Flaming Lips, Juicy J, Vance Joy, Gov’t Mule, Dashboard Confessional, Chevelle, Action Bronson, Franz Ferdinand, Third Eye Blind, Margo Price, Misterwives, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Andrew W.K. And Third Eye Blind.

“Each year we strive to present a unique, relevant and diverse line-up that will appeal to a broad spectrum of musical tastes,” said President and CEO of Memphis in May, James L. Holt. “You will find our Beale Street Music Festival line-up features artists you won’t find at other festivals around the country, with classic favorites from the past three decades as well as today’s top stars.”

Also helping shape the festival are a handful of acts with Memphis roots including Valerie June, North Mississippi Allstars, Tav Falco and the Panther Burns, Young Dolph, Juicy J and many more.

The Beale Street Music Festival was conceived in 1977 and has featured a host of artists and bands over the years. Last year’s lineup included Soundgarden, Kings of Leon, Snoop Dogg, Death Cab For Cutie, Widespread Panic, Ben Harper, Ani Difranco among others.
