Riot Fest 2018 lineup coming May 30, ticket presale tonight

The long-awaited Riot Fest 2018 lineup is almost here. Festival organizers have, today, confirmed the lineups first wave will drop May 30 and aim to release a limited quantity of tickets during a presale held tonight (May 24).

Riot Fest, also known as Chicago’s premiere “Punk Rock (& more) Music Fest,” features an assortment of food, drinks, carnival rides, sideshow attractions and of course music. The festival prides itself on its eclectic mix of punk, metal, hip-hop and rock music and frequently incorporates iconic reunion performances from bands like the Misfits, The Replacements, Jawbreaker and more.

Riot Fest was founded in 2005 and has since seen performances from Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Screeching Weasel, NOFX, Descendents, Naked Raygun, Weezer, Less Than Jake, Andrew W.K., GWAR, Iggy Pop, Elvis Costello, Blink-182, No Doubt, Snoop Dogg, Billy Idol, The National, Wu-Tang Clan, Tv on the Radio, Morrissey, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie, Rancid, Bleachers, Sleater-Kinney, Ministry, M.I.A. And many more. Last year’s rendition featured stand-out sets from Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, New Order, Prophets of Rage and Gogol Bordello, among others.

Riot Fest 2018 goes down Sept. 14-16 in Chicago’s Douglas Park. Presale tickets for the three-day event go on sale tonight at 8:00p.m. CDT and can be purchased here.
