The Tallest Man on Earth will soon be releasing the followup to 2015’s Dark Bird Is Home. The new album, titled I Love You. It’s A Fever Dream, is due out April 19 via Rivers/Birds Records.

Though a a full track list has not yet been revealed, Kristian Matsson, the man behind The Tallest Man on Earth, has shared the album’s first single “The Running Styles Of New York” (listen below). The mellow folk track, featuring both piano and guitar, offers a further evolution of Mattson’s sound paired with the poetic lyrics that have been a staple since the artist’s earliest works.

Though I Love You. It’s A Fever Dream marks the first LP from The Tallest Man in about four years, fans haven’t been entirely deprived of new music from the singer-songwriter. 2017 saw the release of five tracks in the form of A Collaborative EP with yMusic, while 2018 brought listeners the five-part audio-video series When the Bird Sees the Solid Ground.

The Tallest Man on Earth is currently on tour in Europe with U.S. dates beginning in April. For more information and to pick up tickets, visit The Tallest Man on Earth’s official website.
