Golden Globe winning actor Michael C. Hall has teamed up with Peter Yanowtiz (The Wallflowers, Morningwood) and Matt Katz-Bohen (Blondie, Cyndi Lauper) to form the avant-indie trio Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum.

The group has already released its debut single, “Ketamine,” along with a haunting music video directed by David MacNutt.

Hall, Yanowtiz and Katz-Bohen first worked together on the set of the Broadway musical, Hedwig and the Angry Inch in 2014.

“We all bring something unique to the project,” said Hall in a statement. “We’re a three-legged stool; we couldn’t stand up without all of us working together. The first time we played together was a magical moment.

Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum’s debut EP is expected in spring 2020 and the trio is scheduled to perform at the Mercury Lounge in New York City on Feb. 1.
