One of the best things about the summer is seeing live music in the great outdoors and Dave Matthews Band – one of the best groups to enjoy in the open air – has announced that they will be hitting the road for a North American Summer Tour in 2020.
The musical road trip will kick-off with a two-night run at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on June 16 and 17. Dave Matthews and company will then make their way through such cities as Cincinnati, Raleigh and Irvine before wrapping things up in Southaven, MS on Sept. 23. Chicago – where the group last played at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in 2019 – will be treated to a two night run at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on June 26 and 27.

DMB’s 2020 Summer Tour also features a three-night Labor Day run at the Gorge Amphitheatre with support from Mavis Staples, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Robert Randolph and the Family Band and more.
An online ticket presale for members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association is ongoing and a Citi cardmember presale will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 10. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. local time.
Dave Matthews Band – designated as UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador in 2019 – has plans to neutralize emissions associated with fan travel and the band’s footprint by supporting carbon reduction projects. The group is also inviting concertgoers to donate an optional $2 per ticket to plant a tree with The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees campaign. Tree-planting will also be heavily emphasized at the eco-village which, along with tour greening efforts, are in partnership with DocuSign and REVERB.
