Update – Riot Fest adds Taking Back Sunday, Coolio & more to 2022 lineup

Update July 19, 2022: Riot Fest has added a slew of amazing artists to its schedule including Taking Back Sunday, Coolio, Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg, Zola Jesus, Reece Young, Poliça and cumgirl8.

Riot Fest has revealed a stellar lineup for its 17th year featuring My Chemical Romance, The Original Misfits – performing Walk Among Us – and Nine Inch Nails as headliners.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bauhaus, Sleater-Kinney, Yellowcard, Sunny Day Real Estate and many more are also among the highlights of the event which takes place at Chicago’s Douglass Park on Sept. 16-18. Many artists, including Portugal. The Man, Yungblud and The Linda Lindas, are set to perform at Riot Fest for the very first time.

Tickets are currently on sale and are available as 1-Day, 2-Day or 3-Day passes.

“I think this year’s lineup really speaks to who we are; it’s been a minute since we’ve gotten to curate a lineup like this. I’m especially excited for what this is leading into: the stuff that’s happening in the next few weeks, and the years to come,” said festival founder Mike Petryshyn in a statement.
