Many people know The Roots as the incomparable house band for Jimmy Fallon’s late night shows, but true music fans have been celebrating the Philadelphia musicians since the nineties. Do You Want More?!!!??!, Things Fall Apart, Phrenology, Game Theory and so many more albums in The Roots’ discography are classics, and Questlove, Black Thought and company truly showcase their distinct talents in the live setting.

A headlining set by The Roots was the perfect way to close out Pitchfork Music Festival 2022 on Sunday, July 17. Performances by Earl Sweatshirt, Toro y Moi, Cate Le Bon and more provided the icing on the cake.
