‘The Jim Jefferies Show’ premieres in June, hear his ‘no sex, no guns’ stance in this new preview clip

In less than one month, Jim Jefferies will make his late night talk show hosting debut with the new series The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central, premiering Tuesday, June 6 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Get a tiny taste of the Australian comedian’s new show in the above clip, in which he shares his comically blunt view on how and why we should get rid of gun buying waiting periods.

Jefferies doesn’t hold anything back in the above preview clip for his new series The Jim Jefferies Show. “I think we should get rid of waiting periods to buy guns,” declares Jefferies in the above clip. “But before you buy a gun, you have to prove you’ve had sexual intercourse with another person. Have you seen these shooter guys? Lonely looking bunch. If you can’t find someone to f*ck ya, then no gun.”

As Comedy Central puts it, Jefferies’ new show “will take on culture and politics with an unapologetic, honest and international approach.” The late night entry will follow the host as he tackles the week’s top stories through interviews, international field pieces, boots on the ground investigations and more. Jefferies promises to cover the most controversial issues with his no holds barred brand of comedy.

The series, which will air 10 episodes in a weekly format, debuts on Tuesday, June 6, following an all-new episode of Tosh.0. Keep up with the latest by following on Facebook and click here for details on attending a live taping.
