Riot Fest has just unveiled the earlier-promised Second Wave of artists for its 2017 lineup. Among the additional artists added to this year’s bill are At The Drive-In, Best Coast, Cockney Rejects, and more.

Chicago’s premiere “Punk Rock (& more) Music Fest” previously announced its initial lineup of over 70 artists in mid-April, with headliners Nine Inch Nails, Jawbreaker and Queens of the Stone Age. With the addition of the Second Wave, attendees of this year’s festival event — going down in Douglas Park in mid-September — will have close to 100 artists and bands to choose from.

The remainder of the Second Wave artists include Black Pistol Fire, The Casualties, Mad Caddies, Radar State, RVIVR, Versus, Seaway, Like Pacific, Grayscale, Warm Brew, Culture Abuse, Potty Mouth, Skating Polly, Upset, Gin Rummy, The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black and Kembra Pfahler.

Other notable acts already onboard for Riot Fest 2017 include Gogol Bordello, TV On The Radio, Pennywise, Vic Mensa, New Order, Paramore, Wu-Tang Clan, Ministry, Bad Brains, M.I.A., Prophets of Rage and a DJ set by Beastie Boys’ Mike D.

Riot Fest 2017, which has also booked 10 bands including Dinosaur Jr., Built To Spill and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones to perform select albums in their entirety, takes place Sept. 15-17. For more info and to pick up tickets, visit their official festival website.
