Myq Kaplan’s critically-acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival show is being released as an album. Entitled A.K.A. and due to drop on May 8 – via Blonde Medicine – the album takes listeners, Kaplan himself and the universe on a journey of kindness.

Addressing challenges like love, death and bathrooms and diving into controversial topics including religion, politics and Nickelback, Kaplan leads a spiritual trip up and down the rabbit hole.

A.K.A. was originally performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018 as the solo show, All Killing Aside. Now a 17-track comedy album, the show examines truth, love and not murdering.

Kaplan’s previous albums include Vegan Mind Meld and No Kidding. He has performed on such notable late-night shows as The Tonight Show, Conan, the Late Show with David Letterman and many more. His one-hour special, Small, Dork, and Handsome, is available on Amazon.

Tour dates or live streaming shows to celebrate the release of A.K.A. will be announced soon. In the meantime, head over to Myqkaplan.com for more information.
