Trompe Le Monde is turning 30! In honor of this momentous occasion the Pixies have announced that the classic 1991 album will be reissued on limited marbled green vinyl, out Sept. 24, 2021 via 4AD.
Translated from French to mean “fool the world,” Trompe Le Monde features such great singles as “Planet of Sound,” “Alec Eiffel,” and “Letter to Memphis.” It also includes a cover of The Jesus and Mary Chain’s “Head On.”
In other news, the Pixies are touring throughout September including special shows with Nine Inch Nails and an appearance at Riot Fest in Chicago.
