Watch Norm Macdonald talk airport security in new Netflix stand-up special teaser

It’s less than one week until legendary comedian Norm Macdonald takes the stage for his Netflix stand-up debut on May 9 with his new special Hitler’s Dog, Gossip & Trickery. That said, a new teaser trailer arrived earlier this week that gives us a tiny taste of that classic dry style we just can’t seem to get enough of.

Trying to capture Macdonald’s bit in a 35-second teaser is inarguably pretty close to impossible. The chosen clip, which sees the SNL vet comically breaking down the abbreviation of I.D. in only a way he can, is an worthy attempt and hilarious nonetheless.

This is Macdonald’s second special and the followup to Me Doing Standup, which premiered on Comedy Central all the way back in 2011. Earlier this month, the comedian tweeted his appropriately preferred title for his new hour-long — Me, again, Doing Standup, again — which he says he changed because they (presumably Netflix) did not want it.

The teaser for Macdonald’s Hitler’s Dog, Gossip & Trickery, while too short, certainly does its job. So watch it over and over and over again above until next Tuesday’s streaming premiere on Netflix if you like.
