The Hideout, one of the most beloved independent venues in the City of Chicago, has announced that it is launching Hideout Online bringing dancing, bingo, talk shows, music comedy – and of course Robbie Fulks – to fans on a new streaming platform.
Those interested in joining The Hideout’s online community are encouraged to visit www.twitch.tv/hideoutchicago to checkout everything the virtual bar has to offer. Robbie Fulks will be kicking off the fun with a live concert at 8 p.m. on April 10, Ariel’s Party is scheduled for April 11 and Megan Stalter – known for her cult-classic The Megan Stalter Show as well as her many characters – is making her triumphant (virtual) return to the Hideout on April 13.
The Interview Show with Mark Bazer, Cosmic Country VR and Veggie Bingo are also featured on the comprehensive calendar.
Each event has a suggested “tip” which will be split 80 percent for the performers and 20 percent for The Hideout so fans can support both The Hideout and the performers with each contribution.
