Comedian Jena Friedman finds the ‘Joy of Quarantine’ through cooking

Jena Friedman

Trapped at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, touring comedian Jena Friedman has ventured into new territory – cooking. She has teamed up with Reboot Studios to launch Joy of Quarantine, a episodic cooking show with hilarious insight and delicious recipes.

Friedman is finding inspiration in her Eastern European Jewish roots by sharing recipes for babka, kugel, Everything Bagel and more. Her adorable sous chef, Potato, is often along for the ride and her boyfriend, Josh Epstein of the band JR JR, also makes a cameo.

Along with touring across the country, Friedman previously developed Soft Focus with Jena Friedman. She was a field producer at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and has written for The Late Show with David Letterman.
