‘Phoebe Robinson: Sorry Harriet Tubman’ to debut on HBO Max Oct. 14

On Thursday, Oct. 14, the Max Original stand-up comedy special, Phoebe Robinson: Sorry Harriet Tubman will premiere on HBO Max.

Actor, producer, author and comedian, Phoebe Robinson – of 2 Dope Queens – is bringing her signature brand of confessional humor to her first-ever solo stand-up special. Therapy, interracial dating, reparations, hanging out with Michelle Obama and many more topics will be discussed in a no-holds-barred hour of comedy.

Robinson wrote and performed the special which was directed by Kristian Mercado. Ravi Nandan, Inman Young, Alli Reich, and Corey Deckler for A24 and Jose Acevedo and Mai Huynh for Tiny Reparations as well as Robinson serve as executive producers.
