Comedian, actress, producer Aida Rodriguez is sharing her debut hour-long stand-up special, Aida Rodriguez: Fighting Words, on HBO Max on Thursday, Nov. 4
Being worn out from political comedy, getting back in the dating game and embracing both sides of her Puerto Rican/Dominican heritage are among the topics Rodriguez tackles with her grounded unapologetic approach. The special concludes with documentary footage of Rodriguez’s trips to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic as well as her reunion with her estranged father.
The special is written and performed by Aida Rodriguez. Kristian Mercado and Nadia Hallgren serve as directors while Rodriguez along with Michelle Caputo and Shannon Hartman for Art & Industry are the show’s executive producers.
